Our story

From Manabí to your table

Mamá Manaba was born from the dream of giving that nostalgic embrace from the loved ones who once prepared the most exquisite dishes for us — flavors we can now enjoy right here in Utah.

The name Mamá Manaba is a tribute to our mothers — excellent manabitas who passed down to us every tradition, flavor, and technique of our delicious coastal cuisine. Combined with years of study and craft, we found that magic of flavors we now get to share with you.

It's always our pleasure to offer the finest dining experience, because our plates are filled with cocina afectiva — cooking from the heart. The result: food with feeling, with memory, with soul, with authentic Ecuadorian flavor.

Mamá Manaba

Fresh, every morning

Bread out of the oven, stews on the stove, sauces ground that day. We don't keep yesterday's food.

A family kitchen

We cook for our customers the way we cook for our family — same recipes, same hands.

Manabí roots

Our coastal flavors lean on peanut, plantain, fresh herbs and slow heat. The way it's been done for generations.
