These terms explain how ordering works on the website of Mamá Manaba, a family-run Ecuadorian home kitchen and bakery. By placing an order you agree to them.
How ordering works
- The site takes orders ahead of time for Saturday pickup or dine-in (and pre-orders for special events when they are announced).
- Sending the form is a request. Your order is only reserved once payment is received.
- Plates are limited, and popular dishes can sell out.
- When you send your order you get a code. Show it or read it out when you arrive.
- Pickup is from our home kitchen. We share the address once your order is confirmed.
Prices and fees
- Prices are the ones shown on the menu. Your total is shown before you send the order.
- A $1 container fee is added per food plate on pickup orders to cover to-go packaging. Drinks and dine-in orders are not charged.
- Tipping is optional.
Payment
- You can pay with Venmo, Zelle or cash. Payment goes directly to the restaurant: the site does not charge cards or store card details.
- If you can't pay until Saturday, let us know before 10:00 AM Saturday; otherwise your order may be released to another customer.
- The "I paid" link in the email only tells us to look; the owners confirm the payment in their Venmo or Zelle app.
Changing or cancelling an order
The site has no cancel button. To change or cancel an order, or to ask about a refund, contact us as soon as you can using any of the ways below. An unpaid order may be released as explained above.
Allergies and special requests
Tell us about allergies or special requests in the order notes and we will work around them. If you have a serious allergy, contact us before you order.
Catering
The catering form is a request for a quote, not a booking. We reply within 1 to 2 days with a custom quote.
The menu and the site
The menu changes every week, and the availability you see can change while you are ordering. We do our best to keep the site correct and running, but it may contain mistakes or be unavailable at times.
Your information
The privacy notice explains what the site collects and how to ask for it to be deleted.
